Hairdressing Training Mobile Learning Objects

These are items relating to mobile learning and were produced to illustrate my presentation entitled "Is Local Mobile Educational Content Development Realistic?" given at Handheld Learning 2006. My presentation looked at the tools available to a practitioner (as oppposed to technical expert) who might wish to produce and share content with students and colleagues.

The materials presented here should be considered prototypes and are used to explore ideas of practical mobile content production. They are based on an actual learning object for Hairdressing students currently available via the web (through desktop browsers) at http://hairdressing.mimas.ac.uk. The objects here are differnt versions of the same one and can be downloaded to a compatible device.

My presentation with notes (in pdf format) can be downloaded from here

I would welcome any feedback on these objects. Please email me at Stuart Smith.

To download the following to a mobile phone (not including the Ipod version) you will need a Wap 2.0 phone. The Ipod version can be added directly to a Ipod.
